| The World Health and Healing Collaborative
issues Certificates of Completion to a student who successfully
finishes any of the WHHC Health Coaching Programs.
Students seeking Health Coach or Nurse Coach Certification must
complete the following seven training modules : Health Coaching
Fundamentals, Health Coaching Skills, Personal Mastery, Personal
Mastery Coaching Partnership, NAMO the Seven Steps of Change, Coaching
from an Integrative Health Perspective, The Business of Health Coaching.
These classes provide 61 class credit units and 20 hours of individual
coaching. Programs are geared to help participants learn Coaching
Core Competencies of The International Coach Federation.
Students interested in Health Coach Certification are assigned
a senior faculty to help them understand and meet the certification
requirements in a timely fashion. Students must attend 80 % of the
classes and listen to all of the classes missed on tape. They must
submit their application for a Health Coach Certificate within one
year of completing the last course.
Requirements for WHHC Health Coach Certification:

Submit the following: |

- a written description of a scope of professional service,
(and be able to articulate it)
- a sample contract for an associate (client)
- a current resume
- any promotional materials (business cards, brochures,
etc.)
- three written professional references

Documentation that the Health Coach has coached
for a fee for 60 hours or has been employed full time as a health
coach for 6 months. |

Payment of the non-refundable application
fee of $250. If certification is not approved, the application
can be resubmitted within 6 months for $50. |

Participation in a recorded skill evaluation
session and demonstration the following: |
|
|
| |
|
- A personal vision for their Health Coaching practice
- Ability to do a Health Coaching Assessment
- The ability to listen in a verbal and somatic manner
with body, mind and spirit awareness
- An understanding of how to work with the four foundation
stones including other simple health strategies
- The use of energy information in working with an associate
- The ability to avoid medical diagnosis and medical prescription
- The ability to discuss several limiting behavior patterns
that were addressed in coaching sessions
- The ability to help Associates work from a non-judgmental
attitude
- An understanding of NAMO, the practice of emotional wellness
